Sacramento Community Center Theater

Apple Hill
In 1964 the Apple Hill Growers Association was formed. Apple Hill is located in Camino, California in the Sierra Foothills and boasts more than 55 ranches including Christmas tree farms, wineries and vineyards. This is in addition to the apple, peach, and plum orchards that Apple Hill is so well known for. So much of the history of Apple Hill has been preserved. The community has gone to a tremendous effort to protect their history and offer visitors an opportunity to step back in time, if only for a day. Visitors will find their day filled with old-fashioned fun of craft faires, u-pick pumpkin patches, barbecues, and blue grass music. Spend the day and plan a picnic on the lush land that surrounds the beautiful orchards. In the fall treat yourself to some yummy apple pie and other delicious homemade desserts, jams, jellies and sauces.
Folsom Lake State Recreation Area
