The Crocker Art Museum is the leading arts institution in the Sacramento Valley. The Crocker serves as the primary regional resource for the study and appreciation of fine art, with an emphasis on the original Crocker family donation of California art, European drawings, East Asian paintings, and international ceramics.
Sacramento Community Center Theater

Sacramento Community Center Theater hosts a variety of top caliber events -- from performances by local artists to Broadway musicals on tour.

Currently, the Community Center Theater is home to season productions for the California Musical Theater's Broadway Series, Sacramento Ballet, Sacramento Opera, Sacramento Philharmonic, Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra, and Community Concert series.

Recreation

Folsom Lake State Recreation Area

Folsom Lake is located at the base of the Sierra foothills, the 18,000 acre lake and recreation area offers opportunities for hiking, biking, running, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, boating, water skiing and fishing.

Fishing offers trout, catfish, bass or perch. For cyclists, there is a 32-mile long bicycle path that connects Folsom Lake with many Sacramento County parks before reaching Old Sacramento. The park also includes Lake Natoma, downstream from Folsom Lake, which is popular for crew races, sailing and kayaking.

Sacramento Executive Airport

Sacramento Executive Airport is a general aviation airport which provides a wide array of facilities and services. Services including: air charters; aircraft sales, rentals and repairs; flight training; pilot supplies; computer-based testing; and car rentals.

In addition to an FAA tower and instrument approaches, the airport has three paved runways (two lighted) and offers tie-downs and hangar rentals.
