The Strauss Festival of Elk Grove
The Strauss Festival of Elk Grove comes to the stage Thursday through Sunday during the last week of July each year.
The show features elegantly costumed dancers and professional symphony musicians playing the music of Johann Strauss, Jr. and his family. The setting is a grassy knoll at the edge of a lake surrounding a small island. Warm evening breezes and lights reflected in the water add to the wonderful experience of this free event.

Raley Field
"Take Me Out To The Ball Game"
The Sacramento River Cats have called Raley Field their home since relocating to California's Capital City in May 2000. Nestled along the Sacramento River in West Sacramento, the ballpark is the crowned jewel of Minor League Baseball.
Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A's, the River Cats have graduated more than 60 players to the next level. The River Cats have led all of minor league baseball in attendance during each of their seasons at Raley Field.
