POSITION DETAILS

We are searching for the right candidate to join our team as a Purchasing Coordinator for our Denver Office located in Littleton, CO.

Primary objectives of this position are: Provide administration and coordination duties to support the Purchasing department.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage contracts with all vendors.
  • Communicate with all vendors during bid of new communities to facilitate return of bids in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain all trade partner quotes in bid matrix as received from trade partners.
  • Support Purchasing team by providing cost for any missing trade items and setting base sales retail for new plan line up for items as needed.
  • Create files for new vendors and provide needed documents to Accounting for vendor setup.
  • Input new vendors and setup costs in Newstar.
  • Create award and rejection letters for trade partners upon trade partner selection being completed for each new community.
  • Maintain vendor master list with all vendor contact information and the communities where the vendors are performing work.
  • Provide daily support to purchasing team by answering any costs related questions or acquiring any missing costs from active trade partners.
  • Communicate with vendors and assist Purchasing department with maintaining signatures on pricing addendums or any other contract documents as needed.
  • Process and complete rebate report on a quarterly basis and provide report to corporate Purchasing Coordinator
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Business or related field OR a minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience with production homebuilder.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Training, coaching and prior supervisory experience desired
  • Computer literacy
  • Estimating & Blue Print Reading
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficient in Constellation Newstar
