Taylor Morrison Receives Second Hall of Fame Award
Home Builder One of the First Inducted into the BALA Hall of Fame

                North American home builder Taylor Morrison has been inducted into the “Best in American Living Award Hall of Fame.” 

                Created in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Best in American Living Award (BALA), the inaugural BALA Hall of Fame class includes some of the nation’s most renowned designers and builders, including Taylor Morrison, which has won more BALA statues (36) than any other home builder.

                “Our home design is borne out of the opportunity we see to be innovative while still considering the end result,” said Taylor Morrison CEO Sheryl Palmer, who accepted the hall of fame award during the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas on January 19. “We strive to create whole home experiences that deliver design and comfort to the home owner.”

                BALA is the foremost residential design competition in the country and honors those who produce homes that illustrate design quality and success in the marketplace and exemplify the best in American living.

                “Every bit of our more than 100 years of experience goes into each new home we design,” Palmer said. “Our legacy of building quality homes is something we remind ourselves of every day.”

Other BALA Hall of Fame recipients included Berkus Design Studio, BSB Design and Capital Pacific Homes. The hall of fame is sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders, Better Homes and Gardens and Professional Builder magazine. 

                “The BALA Hall of Fame was created to recognize the achievements of those companies and individuals who have contributed significantly to American design over the last quarter century,” said Paul Deffenbaugh, editorial director of Professional Builder. “Taylor Morrison certainly fits that description.”

                The BALA Hall of Fame award is just the latest recognition of Taylor Morrison’s innovative and value-minded home building expertise. The company also boasts numerous awards from J.D.
