Paloma Lake is a wonderful master planned community that will offer residents the benefits of a convenient location, close to several major employers, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment while also offering an oasis away from it all. One of the most attractive features of Paloma Lake is the proximity to Old Settlers Park. In just minutes one can unwind with an evening picnic beside the lake and watch the ducks swim by and see the kids fishing from the pier. On the weekend visitors may enjoy the 18 hole disc golf course with friends or take in a game of volleyball, softball, or soccer on the nearby sport courts. In the summer months, families will enjoy The Rock'n River Family Aquatic Center located inside Old Settlers which features a waterpark with slides, a water playground and flowing river. The expansive 480 acre park is also host to local music festivals, Fourth of July Fireworks, Eater Egg Hunts, and many community activities throughout the year. Old Settlers Park is a place where family memories are made!

Not only will residents enjoy visits to Old Settlers Park and taking in baseball games at nearby Dell Diamond, they will also enjoy their own private retreat. Paloma Lake features a private lake within the community! Meander through Paloma Lake’s trail system, and pass by the proposed on-site elementary school.
This master planned community, served by the excellent Round Rock I.S.D., will compliment your lifestyle, whether you’re a family, empty nester or somewhere in between.

Hamilton Pool Nature Preserve
Hamilton Pool Preserve is a historic swimming hole which was designated a preserve by the Travis County Commissioner's Court in 1990. Located 3/4 mile upstream from its confluence with the Pedernales River, Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50 foot waterfall as it plunges into the head of a steep box canyon. The waterfall never completely dries up, but in dry times it does slow to a trickle. However, the pool's water level stays pretty constant, even during periods of drought.
Shopping and Entertainment
Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits, the long-running, much-praised live music program on public television, captures the spirit of the Austin music scene like no other. And while it once primarily hosted country performers, today's lineup includes something from virtually every genre. Even so, there's just too much good music for the regular television season, and that's where the festival comes in. From local singer-songwriters to internationally known artists, the festival features about 130 performances on eight stages, along with tons of food, drink, children's activities, and arts and crafts vendors. Past performers have included everyone from Blues Traveler, Lyle Lovett, and Buddy Guy to The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Roseanne Cash, and Oasis. To get to the festival site, take the free shuttle from Waterloo Park (403 E 15th St).
Downtown Austin
Casual, cosmopolitan, eclectic, five-star, techie, hippie, historic, chic, intellectual, fashionable, artistic, and weird… The adjectives used to describe Downtown Austin are as numerous and diverse as the people who live, work and visit here.

South by Southwest Festival
This March event is held at the Convention Center and in dozens of Austin's nightclubs. Some say it is the biggest event in the American music industry. Critics, producers, and over 600 bands appear. The event is similar to the Grammys, with most types of music represented among the bands. There is also a film festival that goes on as part of South by Southwest. If you're in Austin at this time of year, this is a great way to see yesterday's legends and tomorrow's stars in intimate venues
Texas Hill Country Food and Wine Festival
This event, held during late March or early April, brings together chefs, vintners, cheese makers, herb and vegetable growers, and gourmands from all over the state. In addition to a wide range of seminars, classes, and demonstrations (held at various venues throughout the city) visitors love Sunday Fair – a collection of food and wine sampling booths arrayed like a miniature city along the shore of Town Lake
