CCPA CALIFORNIA PRIVACY POLICY

The purpose of this California privacy policy (“Policy”) is to inform California residents (“you” or “your”) regarding the Personal Information handling practices of Taylor Morrison, Inc. and our operating groups, parent(s), subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the “Company”, “our” or “we”) and the data privacy rights available under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an identifiable person. In addition, “Sensitive Personal Information” is Personal Information that requires special handling under the CCPA. Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information do not include deidentified and aggregated information (which includes data that is not reasonably capable of identifying you or being linked to you) and do not include certain publicly available information. If we use deidentified data, we commit to maintain and use the information in deidentified form and not attempt to reidentify the information.

DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES

We collect, use, retain, and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with certain data privacy and data protection principles. Specifically, the Personal Information we collect about you is:

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We retain the categories of Personal Information described above for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for the collection. Generally, Personal Information is retained for the duration of our relationship with you, plus any legally required record or data retention period and/or any period of time necessary to exercise our legal rights.

SELLING OR SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Below, we describe the categories of Personal Information we may “sell” or “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA currently and in the preceding 12 months. We also describe the third parties who received the Personal Information and the business or commercial purpose for the sale or sharing. We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of children under the age of 16, and have not done so in the prior 12 months.

WE HONOR OPT-OUT PREFERENCE SIGNALS

An opt-out preference signal is a signal that is sent by a platform, technology or mechanism on your behalf that communicates your choice to opt-out of the sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or sale of your personal information. We treat opt-out preference signals as valid requests to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information under the CCPA. Ordinarily, your opt-out preference signal is sufficient for us to honor your request, but in some instances we may request additional information to help facilitate your request for offline sales or sharing. We will not use, disclose or retain this additional information for any purpose other than to facilitate the request.

Please also note that some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” mechanisms. Most of these mechanisms, when turned on, send a signal to the website or online service indicating that the user does not wish to be tracked online. However, because the providers of “Do Not Track” and similar signals do not yet operate according to common, industry-accepted standards, we currently do not respond to those signals. USE OF SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We only use and disclose the Sensitive Personal Information described above for certain permitted purposes under the CCPA, including to provide the goods or services you requested; prevent, detect and investigate security incidents that compromise the availability, authenticity, integrity or confidentiality of stored or transmitted Personal Information; resist malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal actions directed at our business and prosecute those responsible for those actions; ensure the physical safety of natural persons; and verify or maintain the quality or safety of our products, services or devices (“Permitted Purposes”). Because we use Sensitive Personal Information for the CCPA Permitted Purposes, we do not offer a right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

As a California resident, you have the following privacy rights regarding your Personal Information:

The right to know and access the Personal Information we have collected about you, including the categories of Personal Information; the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected; the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing Personal Information; the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed your Personal Information; and the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you;

The right to delete Personal Information that we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;

The right to correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you;

The right of portability, which means you may receive the information described under the right to know and access in a format that is easily understandable and, to the extent technically feasible, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format so that it may also be transmitted to another entity at your request without hindrance;

The right to opt out of sale or sharing of your Personal Information; and

The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

Except for opt out of sale or sharing requests, we will verify your identity by requiring you to provide us your identifying information such as your personal email address, personal telephone number, home address, and/or other information that we can match with the Personal Information we have already collected about you. You can also exercise the right to opt out of sale or sharing of Personal Information by clicking on the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our website.

You may exercise your privacy rights through an authorized agent. If we receive your request from an authorized agent, we may ask for evidence that you have provided such agent with a power of attorney or that the agent otherwise has valid written authority to submit requests to exercise rights on your behalf. We will honor opt out of sale or sharing requests within 15 business days. We will confirm receipt of your request to know, delete and correct within 10 business days and provide information about how we will process your request. Generally, we will respond to your request to know, delete and correct within 45 calendar days. If we need more time to respond, we will provide you with notice and an explanation of the reason we need more time to respond. We may deny your request to know, delete and correct if we cannot verify your identity or are legally permitted to deny your request. If we deny your request, we will explain the basis for the denial, provide, correct or delete any Personal Information that is not subject to the denial and refrain from using the Personal Information retained for any purpose other than permitted by the denial. We will maintain a record of your request and our response for at least 24 months.

DATA SECURITY

While no data security system can fully protect Personal Information from unauthorized data breaches, we have implemented reasonable safeguards and controls, consistent with our legal obligations under California and other local, state and federal laws. We are committed to: (i) seeking to safeguard all Personal Information that you provide to us; (ii) seeking to ensure that it remains confidential and secure; and (iii) taking all reasonable steps to ensure that personal privacy is respected. All our data is stored in written or electronic form on our servers and computers and in various physical locations. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your Personal Information from misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure and loss or corruption by computer viruses and other sources of harm. We restrict access to Personal Information to our staff members and our services providers who need to know that information for the purposes identified in this Policy and other privacy notices.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

As we strive to improve our practices, we may revise this Policy from time to time. This Policy is not a contract and we reserve the right to change this Policy at any time and to notify you of those changes by posting an updated version of this Policy. We recommend that you check this Policy from time to time for any changes.
